       Skin is the most attractive and the most prone to allergies an infections in the body of any organism either that be human beings or animals. Animal’s body skin is very delicate and its overall well being depends on the kind of diet that is being given to the dogs.

       Canine disease skin can be itching, shedding of body hair in large amount, bald patches, red oozing, sores or blisters, crusty lesions, and, hot spots.   • Bacterial skin infection (pyodermas) - itching, reddening of the skin with ulcers, yellow pustules, dryness and crusty area start appearing in the early stage, loss of hair and bad body odor. The most prone area is the trunk.
  • Fungal skin infection (ringworm) - bald patches on the body and crusty areas appear on the skin. The most affected areas are legs and head.

  • Parasitic skin problems - Caused mainly by mites, teaks, and other parasitic insects that affect mostly the earlobe, chest, front legs and the abdomen.

       To get rid from the chronic Canine skin disease there are various diagnostics and treatments tests are available, however, the treatment is given according to the kind of disease and consequently the kind surgery is performed. The three different tests that are given to the infected dog are the urine coristol: creatinine ratio, low dose dexamethasone suppression test, and lastly the abdominal ultrasound.

       In addition, according to the results of the tests the required treatment is given and among which the non surgical treatment is one of the most efficient and effective cure for the maximum number of cases of the chronic canine skin disease. Besides, other kinds of oral medications that are given to the chronic canine skin diseased dogs includes, ketoconazole, lysodren,  L-deprenyl, and trilosatne.
