       How good it feels to own a well groomed and obedient pet who loves to be with you and your family members! However, to own a pet does not ensure you freedom from an important responsibility of grooming your pet in order to keep it free from diseases.

       It is seen that an ill kept dog is an open invitation to disease dog skin that can even make you and your family ill. Therefore, it is essential that you take proper care of your dog so that it remains away from ringworms, fungus, roundworms, tapeworms and tick diseases as these are some of the common disease dog skin.

       So, if you want to keep your pet away from such diseases, make sure that you take its proper care by ensuring the per is washed with a tick shampoo but not on daily basis as it will make its skin lose the essential oil. Ensure that the coat of your do is neat and clean by brushing with a soft brush.

       Follow the regular vaccination program so that your pet is free from diseases. Along with this, make sure you provide healthy diet to your pet along with adequate exercise. This will ensure that your per is free from disease dog skin. 

The common skin allergies that a dog can suffer are:

  • Heart worms: these worms are actually parasites called with the name Dirofilaria Imitis, and are transmitted through mosquitoes that get carried through dogs that your dog has bitten.
  • Skin allergies: these allergies are so commonly seen in a dog and its symptoms are itching that occurs on the whole body, licking and chewing of paws, scratching spots where itching have occurred.
  • Mange: this is caused by a kind of mite which almost all pups have, only in some cases this problem have occurred. The symptoms generally seen are scratching a bit more than what is done in normal cases.
